Hey Everybody!!
Life here has been pretty good. My new companion is absolutely incredible. She has such great insight on things and has helped me get a new perspective on so many things. I love her so much
We've also been having a great time because for whatever reason, the Lord has suddenly opened the windows of heaven and poured out blessings on us. I don't know why He waited until this transfer for all of the blessings that I fasted and prayed for... but hey, I'm just glad they are coming and I can see them. Hopefully poor Sister Nalder will get some of the blessings while she works in Corinth.
So, cool blessing story-
Saturday evening we had a few min to burn before we were supposed to be in. We tried to see one of our investigators where she works, but she wasn't working, so we started scratching our heads trying to figure out what to do... I used to say all the miracles happen after dark, and that thought popped into my head along with, "But you haven't seen a whole bunch of miracles after dark in a while." I responded, "Yeah, but we stay out. Because that's what we do." So, we walked to another store in the mall, it was closing in 10 min, and I'm sure all the people there wanted to kill us, but it was the closest place we could find people. I asked a super bubbly, cute sales lady where I could find a white cardigan, and she took me to a few. My companion stayed in the other area of the store and started talking to people, but I could tell from her conversation that it wasn't going particularly well... (She was explaining why we were not a cult...), and just at that moment, the super cute sales lady walked up to me and said, "Hey! What is that badge?" Well, that's one of my favorite questions- probably pretty close to "When can I get baptized?" But, I started explaining it, and she hadn't heard of our church or the LDS church, but as soon as I said, "Mormon" her face lit up. She said, "Oh! I love that musical!!!" Having diligently kept up on my Mormon news, I knew the exact right response and said, "Oh really?!? Well, have you read the book?" "No" "Would you like to?" "Yeah!!" Haha- it was AWESOME!! The entire rest of the conversation was amazing. She was so bubbly and happy and excited to read the Book of Mormon. She actually knows some Mormons and has always wanted to learn more about what they believe... so... golden new investigator. Yes!!! :) Super happy.
This week has been such a crazy wonderful week. I am so grateful to be serving with Sister Williams. She's a great missionary. I'm even more grateful for the Lord and for his tender mercies. Even when I don't deserve them, and I never do, He blesses me with such incredible miracles. I am so grateful for Him.
But Press forward, the Work must go on!!
Love always,
Sister Pratt

The Little old lady that we did service for who gave us the clothes. She was really sweet and kind.
My Ward mission leader. Haha Dad, don't get a mask like that. Its kinda scary.
Indoor missionaries... haha after a week of being out in 90+ weather with 70+ humidity all day everyday... well... indoor missionaries look about as pathetic as missions that last a week. Seriously, never knew I could sign up to be an indoor missionary!!!
